A build up of grime, algae and moss doesn’t speak well for any business. Despite the saying, people do tend to judge a book by it’s cover.
It’s a common thought that rainfall will clean off the exterior surfaces but unfortunately this is not true. Rain can leave streaks of dirt and grime on all types of surfaces. Power washers has special settings for a number of surfaces including wood, stone, stucco and brick. It cleans off any caked in dirt and extra layers, such as muck, grime and lichen.
Algae and mould growing on the outside of buildings after heavy rains are no problem when faced with a power washer in the hands of an experienced contractor. Paint and varnish are also left unaffected by power washer when commercial grade equipment in a trained hand is used. In fact, the washing will actually bring out the colors of the surface afterwards!
